Foster Love Hosts Power of One Gala to Celebrate Success
RALSTON, Neb. (Nebraska) — A local organization that supports foster families and children held a gala to share stories and support their mission.
On Thursday, Foster Love hosted the Power of One Gala at the venues at the Granary in Ralston.
Nebraska is a proud sponsor and 3 News Now Anchor Serise Cole was the host.
Founder and CEO Amber Richardson said the purpose of the event is to share life experiences and celebrate a successful year.
“More people got up. More businesses have stepped up through fundraising, donations, voluntary triage and just really putting in their time,” Richardson said.
Foster Love runs a boutique where foster children can shop for free to find clothes that fit their personality and make them feel good.

Richardson says they had over 1,200 sales meetings last year and about 700 young people.
