Fall Fest returns this weekend at Lincoln Park Zoo

LINCOLN, Nebraska – This weekend marks the start of the 2022 Fall Fest at Lincoln Park Zoo, kicking off a month-long celebration of attractions, eerie sights, pumpkin patches, and festive food at one of the nation’s oldest zoos.

This year’s Fall Festival runs from September 30 to October 30 and is free with no registration required in advance. The festival will be open every day for the next month, but only on weekends will all offerings be available.

Next month, the Fest will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all open days, with the pumpkin patch and other attractions also operating on weekdays. Additionally, the festival will be open to the public on Monday, October 10.

Several ticketed family-friendly activities are offered inside, including a Ferris wheel, gigantic slide, harvest maze, and pumpkin stroll.

Extra festival items are priced at $4 per ticket, $36 per ten tickets, and $69 per twenty tickets. Here you can purchase tickets for the Fall Fest’s ticketed attractions in advance.

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., for the duration of the Fall Festival, expert pumpkin carvers will demonstrate their skills live.

Even though Fall Fest is a family-friendly event, one evening is reserved for adults. On Thursday, October 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., adults may enjoy a charming evening at the zoo, complete with educational entertainment and cash bars.

Fall-themed food and beverages will also be available at Patch’s Bar and Grill, a seasonal pop-up that will remain open for the duration of Fall Fest.
