Eyeglass World suffered $75,000 in damages after accident
LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) — Lincoln police responded to an accident when a car crashed into an eyewear store Monday night.
Police said the driver of a Nissan Maxima passed a traffic light and crashed into a southbound GMC Acadia at the intersection of 56th Street and O Street.
The initial accident caused Nissan to collide with another vehicle, a Honda CRV, which had stopped at a traffic light.
After colliding with the Honda, the Nissan continued down the road and crashed into the front of Eyeglass World at North 56th and O Streets.
Police said Eyeglass World had suffered about $75,000 worth of damage.
The Nissan driver was charged with a traffic violation.
Both the Nissan driver and the Acadia driver suffered minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
