Elderly woman was shot to death in the Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood on Friday night

Miami, Florida – On Friday night, a deadly gunshot wound was inflicted against a great-grandmother in the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami.

Officer Kiara Delva, a spokeswoman for the Miami Police Department, stated that police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alarm at the intersection of Northwest 10 Avenue and 52 Street, where they discovered an injured 89-year-old woman.

The woman was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital by employees from Miami Fire Rescue, who also arrived to the scene. Delva reported a doctor pronounced her dead.

Great-grandmother Elizabeth Level, who was 86 years old and adored by many, was killed in a drive-by shooting in front of her home, according to Reese Level, who said the victim was her aunt Elizabeth Level.

“When I arrived, my aunt was outside. “They started shooting and they hit her,” Reese Level said later, adding, “She survived to see all of her grandkids and great, great grandkids.” “A car rolled by and they started firing and they hit her.”
