Due to huge negative impact of the Covid-19 virus, Omaha’s Alamo Midtown announced closure
OMAHA, Nebraska — Omaha has one fewer theater as the Alamo Midtown announced its closure late Sunday night.
In a Facebook post, the company stated that Sunday was their final day of screenings and that the shutdown was “because to the residual effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Alamo Midtown congratulated previous and present moviegoers and team members for creating memories over the past five years.
The post said that the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema facility in La Vista remains open.
