Dozens of people have been charged, indicted and sentenced this week by the Grand Jury indictments for the District of Nebraska

OMAHA, Nebraska – The following is a summary of Grand Jury indictments for the District of Nebraska, as updated by acting U.S. Attorney Steven Russell on Thursday.

Indictments issued by a federal grand jury are not final sentences, but rather accusations.

Oscar Aguilar Pablo, 37, of Crete, was charged with illegal reentry following his September 2022 deportation. If convicted, Pablo faces up to two years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

45-year-old Jaime Alcala-Robles is accused of unauthorized readmission of a deported immigrant after being convicted of a felony in August 2022. If convicted, Alcala-Robles faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

In February 2022, thirty-year-old Sarah Nichole Baldwin is charged with possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine or more. If convicted, Baldwin risks between 10 years and life in jail and a $10,000,000 fine.

After being convicted of a felony in May 2022, Daniel Conseco-Gallegos, 27 years old, is charged with unauthorized reentry of a deported alien. If convicted, Conseco-Gallegos faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Jose Pablo Cobarruvias-Ozuna, 32, is accused with illegal reentry following his January 2022 deportation. If convicted, Cobarruvias-Ozuna faces up to two years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Omaha resident Jason Felder, age 41, is facing two accusations. In August of 2022, Felder is accused with attempted bank robbery. If convicted, Felder risks 10 to 25 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. In August 2022, Felder is additionally charged with possession of a stolen handgun. For the second charge, Felder faces a maximum of 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine.

Adriana Gonzalez, 32, and Ildefonso Rivera-Leon, 51, both of San Ysidro, California, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. In August 2022, you are charged with possession with intent to distribute at least 500 grams of methamphetamine and 100 grams of fentanyl. If convicted, they face between 10 years and life in jail and a $10,000,000 fine. They must also return the $2,900 that was confiscated.

In August 2022, Robert T. Jaeger, 44, is charged with felony firearm possession and receipt or possession of an unregistered firearm. For each charge, Jaeger faces a maximum of ten years in jail.

Omaha resident Jonny P. Jones, 32, is facing three charges. In May of 2022, Jones is charged with possession with intent to distribute at least 5 grams of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during a narcotics trafficking felony, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Jones faces between 5 and 40 years in jail if convicted on the intent to distribute charge, in addition to 10 years for each of the firearm charges.

Miguel Lobano-Diaz, 35, of Omaha, is being charged with two offenses. In August 2022, Lobano-Diaz is charged with possession with the purpose to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. Lobano-Diaz faces between 10 years and life in jail and a $10,000,000 punishment for the meth charge. They face 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine on the cocaine charge.

In May of 2022, Alberto Mejia, 34, of Omaha is accused of possessing visual images of kids participating in sexually explicit conduct. Mejia faces up to 20 years in jail and a $250,000 fine if convicted. In addition, they must pay $22,100 in extra assessments.

Werner Monterroso-Monterroso, age 26, of Schuyler, Nebraska, is charged with five offenses. They are accused of unlawful transfer of a document or authentication feature in April 2022 and face a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, sale of a card purporting to be a social security card in April 2022 and face a maximum of 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, unlawful transfer of a document or authentication feature in June 2022 and face a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, and sale of a card purporting to be a

In September 2021, 40-year-old Travis Nyhoff is charged with possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine or more. Nyhoff faces between ten years and life in jail and a fine of ten million dollars.

In September 2022, Oliver, age 69, is charged with assaulting a federal employee. Oliver faces up to 8 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.

68-year-old Rocky J. Patterson is facing two accusations. In August of 2022, Patterson is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and unlawfully taking a handgun from a federally licensed firearms company. They face a maximum of fifteen years in prison for the possession charge and ten years for the second offence. Patterson faces two fines of $250,000 for the allegations.

Scott Matthew Simmons, 42, of Grand Island, is facing eight child pornography-related offenses. The first charge is conspiracy to generate child pornography from 2018 to August 2022. The second count is for conspiring to make child pornographic material while on the sexual offender registry. The third through sixth counts are for generating child pornography and for doing so while on the sexual offender register. In August 2022, counts 7 and 8 are both for possession of child pornography. Simmons faces a minimum of 25 years for each count of making child pornography and a minimum of 25 years for each count of possession if found guilty. Simmons faces a minimum of ten years for each count of allegedly manufacturing child pornographic material while on the sex offender registry.

Mark A. Smith, 49, of Omaha, is being charged with three offenses. In July 2022, Smith is charged with possession with the intent to distribute at least 50 grams of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking felony, and felon in possession of a firearm. Smith faces 10 years to life in jail and a $10,000,000 fine for drug possession. Smith faces 5 years to life in prison and a $250,000 fine for the firearm offense. Smith faces a maximum of 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine for the possession of a firearm by a felon charge.

In July of 2022, Edward Smith, age 22, of Omaha is charged with possession of a handgun by a prohibited person. Smith is facing 15 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

In July and August 2022, Kyrell Wells, 19, of Omaha, is charged with two counts of felon in possession of a handgun. For each charge, Wells risks 15 years in jail and a $250,000 fine.

In August 2021, 32-year-old Steven R. Windoloski is charged with possession with intent to distribute at least 5 kg of cocaine. If convicted, Wells risks 10 years to life in jail and a $10,000,000 fine.

Alma L. Zapien, 51, of Omaha, is accused with money laundering conspiracy between April and June 2022. Zapien faces up to 20 years in jail and a fine of $500,000.
