Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigates death of missing Omaha man
OMAHA, Neb. (Nebraska) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of missing Omaha resident, Laron Hodges, as a homicide.
Here’s what the police know:
On Feb. 7, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a missing persons report, 39-year-old Laron Hodges from Omaha, according to police. Family members indicated that they last saw Hodges on February 2.
Police said that during the course of the investigation, detectives managed to find Hodges’ car in a private impound lot in Omaha. The car was searched, and Hodges’ body was hidden inside.
The DCSO is investigating the case as a homicide in cooperation with the Omaha Police Department.
