Douglas County Sheriff: The body of the missing Omaha man has been found hidden in a vehicle
OMAHA, Neb. (Nebraska) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspected homicide.
The sheriff’s office announced Saturday that investigators found the body of a missing man hidden inside a vehicle.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a missing person report was received on February 7, 2023 for 39-year-old Laron Hodges of Omaha. The family told investigators they last saw Hodges on Feb. 2.
Later, detectives found Hodges’ vehicle in private storage in Omaha. Law enforcement officers searched the vehicle and found Hodges’ body hidden inside.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating the case as a homicide. They’re cooperating with the Omaha PD.
