Douglas County Sheriff: Body of missing Omaha man hidden in car
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspected murder.
The sheriff’s office announced Saturday that detectives had found the body of a missing man hidden inside a car.
On February 7, 2023, 39-year-old Laron Hodges from Omaha was reported missing, according to the sheriff’s office. The family told investigators that Hodges was last seen on February 2.
Detectives later found Hodges’ car in a private impound lot in Omaha. Law enforcement searched the car and found Hodges’ body hidden inside.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said it was investigating the case as a homicide. They cooperate with the Omaha police.
