Double Dips Ice Cream celebrates the national ice cream for breakfast day

NORTH PATTE, Neb. (Nebraska) – Employees of Double Dips ice cream in North Platte woke up early Saturday morning to celebrate the special occasion.

National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is celebrated every February 4. Patrons from all over the region lined up in their pajamas waiting for a special scoop of frozen sweetness.

The restaurant opened its doors early at 8 a.m. for their special breakfast menu that included waffles topped with ice cream, donuts with ice cream, or even a cereal shake.
