Dallas residents thought that an UFO appeared in the North Texas sky, but it was the Starlink’s satellites

The true source of the lights was satellites created by Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starlink.

Monday night, numerous FOX 4 viewers brought in photographs and videos of a peculiar occurrence in the sky above North Texas.

At 9 p.m., a mystery line of lights was seen by many across the metropolitan area, prompting some to believe they had discovered an extraterrestrial craft.

Maria Flores Ruiz, a FOX 4 viewer, observed a string of lights near Caddo Hills at 9 p.m.

The genuine source of the lights was SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk.

Monday night, the Starlink-55 satellites passed over North Texas, according to the website FindStarlink.com.

The Starlink satellites are intended to assist in bringing high-speed broadband internet to areas of the world where it is not commonly available.

SpaceX launched 54 new Starlink satellites on Sunday evening from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
