Dallas man still suffers serious injuries following a hit-and-run incident last week in Dallas, the suspect finally arrested
DALLAS, Texas – The Dallas Police Department has reported that a 63-year-old man has been detained in connection with a hit-and-run that critically injured a woman last week.
According to authorities, William H. Walker is charged with third-degree criminal accident with serious bodily injury.
The event occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on September 17 at the junction of Chestnut Street and Dawson Street, just south of the Deep Ellum neighborhood.
Walker is accused of driving his SUV into a woman, stopping, and then backing over her before fleeing the scene.
The 55-year-old man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Bond information for Walker has not yet been released.
