Crossroad Mission Avenue Thrift store expanding on Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (Nebraska) – Grand Island Crossroads’ Mission Avenue thrift store is expanding.
The nonprofit is creating more retail space for its customers. Part of the current store is now under construction, with renovations expected to be completed around April 1st.
The area currently used for retail operations will transform into Mission Avenue’s used sorting, recycling and donation center.
Executive Director Daniel Buller has told Local4 in the past that thrift store sales directly support the homeless ministry in each locality and are an essential part of Crossroads’ sustainability model.
The new area that will house the store overlooks Old Fair Road.
