Cold and windy weather to continue into Saturday before warming up
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) – Winter weather will last all of our Saturday despite it being still dry.
Temperatures start low and rise slowly in the morning, with cloud cover largely intact.
Northwest winds will also blow in the 15 to 25 mph range, leaving cooling in the single digits for much of the day.
A little sunshine at the end of the day will help us get to the mid-20s; however, it is almost thirty degrees below the average for this time of year.
Saturday Hourly Forecast (Nebraska)
With clear skies tonight and weaker winds, we will drop into the upper single digits by Sunday morning.
However, there is a significant recovery on Sunday as southwesterly winds bring warmer air into the area.
Forecast for Sunday 6 to 6 (Nebraska)
By noon we will have mid to over 40 degrees with sunshine overhead.
Monday looks even better with a return to the mid-50s just in time for the official arrival of spring.
A chance for showers will return on Tuesday, with wetter weather possible on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
Chance of Rain on Tuesday (Nebraska)
Temperatures will dip slightly to 40 degrees on Tuesday but return to the low 50s on Wednesday and Thursday.
Over the weekend we will hover quite close to 50 degrees, and another system is possible by Sunday.
