Cholesterol-lowering oil can fight hypertension and increase life expectancy within ‘one week’
Cholesterol is a vital component of every cell structure, on which the proper functioning of the brain and nerves largely depends. However, when it circulates in the blood in large quantities, problems can arise. Over time, fat molecules accumulate on the surface of the arteries, forming a thin layer of plaque. In 2021, a study was published in the medical journal Molecules to determine the effect of blackcurrant extract on serum lipid levels in healthy young women.
The authors noted, “There was no effect after four days of blackcurrant extract, but total serum cholesterol decreased after 29 days of supplementation.”
In addition, the researchers noticed that very-low-density lipoprotein levels were significantly reduced, and LDL cholesterol “also showed a downward trend.”
Many parts of the blackcurrant fruit, including the seed oil, have been shown to be effective in supporting immunity and reducing inflammation.

Clinical pharmacist Mike Wakeman suggests that taking blackcurrant supplements can provide energy and immunity, as well as burn fat in seven days.
In fact, the clinician explained that the life-extending properties of blackcurrant can be seen in as little as a week.
He explained: “As we age, the arteries become stiff and congested, leading to impaired blood flow and changes that are often associated with the development of cardiovascular disease.
“Healthy circulation is the key to longevity and essential for the functioning of vital organs.”
The expert continued: “Blackcurrants are valued for their effects on circulation and improving cardiovascular health and function.
“They dilate blood vessels, lower blood pressure in adults with hypertension, and can reverse the effects of arterial aging by up to ten years.”
While these qualities are tempting, care should be taken when taking blackcurrant extracts along with other medications.
“Taking blackcurrant along with medications used to lower high blood pressure can lead to too low blood pressure,” warns RxList.

“Don’t take too much blackcurrant if you’re on high blood pressure medication,” the health authority adds.
Why lowering cholesterol levels is important for longevity
Several factors affect cholesterol levels, but some of the most influential are genetics and diet.
High levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol are thought to be an important factor in the formation of plaque in the arteries.
As the vessels become clogged, it blocks the flow of blood to the vital organs of the body, creating an ideal environment for disease.
To help manage the prevalence of high cholesterol in the general population, health authorities across the country are disseminating dietary advice.
According to the dietary treatment recipe: “Oat bran and brown rice bran are the best foods for lowering cholesterol.”
These products have one thing in common – the content of soluble fiber, which can pull fat molecules out of the digestive tract.
Tree nuts, such as almonds, can also significantly improve blood cholesterol levels when eaten raw.
“Almonds, rich in the amino acid arginine, were associated with a 16-point reduction in cholesterol levels in just four weeks,” explain the authors of Prescription for Nutritional Healing.
