CHI Health locations in Omaha electronic records are affected by IT incident, officials have confirmed

OMAHA, Nebraska — Electronic health records and other systems are impacted by an IT security incident affecting CHI Health sites in Omaha.

According to Senior Public Relations Strategist Taylor Miller, CHI’s parent company, Common Spirit Health, was impacted by the nationwide security incident.

Some information technology systems have been taken offline as a precaution, according to 3 News Now.

All Omaha facilities, including Lakeside Hospital, Creighton University Medical Center, Bergan Mercy, and Immanuel Medical Center, have been affected, according to reports.
