CCC will offer 8-week online courses
HASTINGS, Neb. (Nebraska) – Central Community College offers select eight-week online courses starting March 13.
Available courses are American History, Business Communications, Personal Financial Planning, Intro to Psychology, Intro to Sociology, Public Speaking, and Unity and Diversity Issues.
CCC courses usually take 16 weeks to complete, and with that time cut in half, Dr. Amy Mancini, principal of education, encourages full-time workers or those who need only a few courses to complete an award to take advantage of this opportunity .
“For students who need to tailor a classroom to fit their work and personal lives, these shortened-length courses could be the answer,” said Mancini. “Because the classes are entirely online, students can work any time of the day or night to learn the material. We plan to offer more eight-week courses in the future to help our students reach their goals quickly.”
