British law enforcement investigate former Omaha priest
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) — UK investigators were in Omaha last week as part of a criminal investigation.
The chancellor of the Archdiocese of Omaha confirms that the former priest is under investigation. Sources tell us that this is due to his actions during a visit to England many years ago. However, the Archdiocese of Omaha says there is no investigation.
The substance of the allegations is not disclosed.
Omaha police have confirmed that UK law enforcement officials are investigating, but the OPD is not involved.
British investigators left Omaha on Friday.
