Biden: Russia should not be labeled a sponsor of terrorism

Yesterday evening, Vice President Joe Biden of the United States stated that Russia should not be categorized as a state that sponsors terrorism.

Because of not just the invasion, but also the Russian war crimes that have been committed on Ukrainian soil, Ukraine has been pressing the West for quite some time now to carry out this particular operation. On the other hand, Moscow warns that such a designation would obliterate the foundation of relations between the United States and Russia.

In response to a journalist’s question in the White House on whether or not Russia ought to be named as a state sponsor of terrorism, Vice President Biden gave a quick answer of “No.”

According to The Guardian’s reporting, a number of politicians in the United States have in the past suggested labeling Russia as a state supporter of terrorism.
