Beatrice Fire and rescue ambulance involved in an accident in southeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska). Beatrice Fire and Rescue was involved in an accident while transporting a patient to Lincoln on Sunday morning.

The crash happened near South 48th Street and Nebraska Parkway shortly before 8:00 a.m. In a post on Beatrice’s social media site, the Fire and Rescue Service said the vehicle failed to yield to a BFR ambulance at an intersection in Lincoln and crashed the ambulance.

BFR said two employees were taken to Brian West for evaluation. Both employees have been discharged from the hospital and will return to work soon.

The Lincoln Fire and Rescue Service arrived on the scene.
