Beatles and Stones guitars go up for auction, debate over which band will reach a higher price

The guitar along with the video in which Keith Richards signs his Gibson ES-335 should reach a larger amount than Paul McCartney’s signed bass guitar when they are auctioned in Beverly Hills.

“The same old story, ‘The Beatles or the Stones?’, Whose fan are you?” Said Martin Nolan, CEO of Julien’s Auctions.

“I think Keith Richards will win here, simply because it’s a lot of fun and because it’s NFT,” Nolan predicted.

NFT, which means irreplaceable tokens, is a unique digital object that confirms the ownership of digital files, in this case a four-second recording in which Richards signs the guitar. Julien’s Auctions states that Richards’s NFT could fetch between $ 6,000 and $ 8,000.

McCartney’s Hoffner bass guitar, with his signature, was the model he played at the Beatles’ last concert on the roof of the Apple Corps building in London in 1969, which was recently featured in Peter Jackson’s documentary The Beatles: Get Back. It is estimated that they will find a new owner for four to six thousand dollars.

The online auction will take place on January 30 in Los Angeles for the charity MusiCares, which offers health care and recovery to members of the music community.
