Apple Unveils iPhone 14, Which Can Connect to Satellites
“At a launch event held at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, which was led by CEO Tim Cook, the company unveiled its newest smartphone, the “iPhone 14,” which comes in four different configurations and features an emergency satellite connection as well as technology that can detect and report on traffic accidents.
“There are two sizes available for the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus. They are able to send a distress signal to be picked up by satellite in case of an emergency. The user’s location in relation to the satellites will be displayed on the screen, along with instructions for how to aim the device correctly at those locations. Sending a simple message will take anything from fifteen seconds to one minute of your time.
According to the manufacturer, the new “iPhone 14” features a camera with a resolution of 12 mega pixels, is able to take pictures of subjects that are moving quickly, and improves recording quality in dim light by 49%.
