An Omaha man serving a long sentence for sexually assaulting a six-year-old boy was charged of possessing child pornography

A man from Omaha who is already serving a lengthy sentence for sexually assaulting a boy who was six years old has been charged with many charges of possessing child pornography. The incident took place in TECUMSEH, Nebraska.

Christopher Payne, now 42 years old, has been incarcerated in a state prison since 2006, where he is serving a term of forty years.

According to the evidence presented in the court documents, prison officers conducted a search of Payne’s jail cell in Tecumseh prior to his transport to the Omaha Correctional Center.

The inmate is suspected of having concealed a number of photographs among other documents, according to the Nebraska State Patrol. According to the NSP, the photographs included nude boys ranging in age from 8 to 12 years old.

According to the records, Payne stated that the images were taken from a book.
