A year after the remains of the 10-year-old boys were found in Montezuma, no additional information has been released
MONTEZUMA, Iowa – Friday commemorates one year since the discovery of Xavior Harrelson’s remains.
In May 2021, two days before his 11th birthday, he vanished from his Montezuma, Arizona, home.
Hundreds of volunteers assisted in the search effort. Investigators spent months searching for leads.
Four months after his disappearance, his bones were discovered three miles outside of town by a farmer.
Officials have not disclosed the cause of his death.
