59-year-old man, convicted of aggravated sexual assault in 1987 in Dallas, has been arrested for sexual assault in Sarpy County

OMAHA, Nebraska – A sexual offender who operates a treatment facility for other sexual offenders in Omaha has been arrested for sexual assault.

Thomas Michael Wiggins, 59, was released from Sarpy County Jail on bond on Friday.

He has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual assault on a pregnant woman. The suspect operates the Wiggins House in Omaha, a transitional housing facility that assists sexual offenders in preparing for independent existence.

Wiggins was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault in Dallas, Texas in 1987.
