51-year-old Omaha man injured in a stabbing incident Monday evening, police
OMAHA, Nebraska – Monday just before 8 p.m., a 51-year-old male was allegedly assaulted and stabbed at the Sienna Francis House men’s shelter in Omaha, according to police. The shelter is located at the intersection of 17th and Nicholas Streets.
The person was transported to a hospital, and survival is anticipated.
Officers located and interrogated a suspect. 64-year-old Kris Minickler was brought into the Douglas County jail on charges of first-degree assault and weapon possession.
