43-year-old woman was stabbed several times near a residence in a north Omaha neighborhood on Thursday morning, ongoing investigation
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Thursday morning, a female victim was stabbed at least once near a property in a north Omaha area, prompting a police investigation.
According to a Thursday afternoon Omaha Police report, a 43-year-old lady was stabbed multiple times at 20th and Paul streets, north of Cuming Street. According to the announcement, she was transferred to UNMC, but her injuries were not deemed to be life-threatening.
After the incident, which was reported at 9 a.m., a suspect, described as a black lady in her fifties with blonde hair, was transported to the Omaha Police Department Headquarters for questioning.

At the site, the daughter of the victim talked with authorities, and other witnesses were also interrogated. Neighbors across the street have reported that they have seen several persons entering and exiting the residence.
