21-year-old man shot to death outside his home in the Bronx
Police said the 21-year-old was gunned down outside his home in the Bronx on Wednesday evening.
According to the NYPD, Nicholas Lewis was shot once in the chest in the back of his home on Pratt Avenue in the Eastchester neighborhood shortly before 9 p.m.
Rescuers rushed Lewis to Jacobi Hospital, but failed to save him. The hospital pronounced him dead.
After the shooting, the man was seen comforting the girl outside the house.
The shooter remains at large.
