2 KHS students selected for K-12 National Ceramic Exhibition
KEARNEY, Neb. (Nebraska) – Two Kearney High School students have been selected to exhibit their work at the 26th Annual K-12 National Ceramics Show taking place in March in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Jenna Mapes, a KHS sophomore, and Maria Buck, a KHS senior, selected the artwork.
Of the 1,317 entries, 152 were selected for the exhibition.
Mapes’ artwork titled Demetra is a ceramic of a flower. Buck’s chosen piece is a ceramic bust titled “It’s Not My Fault”.
This year’s juror was Bobby Scroggins.
