17-year-old boy shot dead in broad daylight during shooting in Brooklyn

A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in broad daylight in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, police said.

Police responded to a report of an attack on Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Place in Brownsville shortly before 5 p.m.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a teenager with a gunshot wound to the torso, police said.

He was taken to the Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No one has been arrested and police said the investigation is ongoing.
