1 person arrested after vacant house in Omaha caught fire
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) — A vacant home is considered a total loss after a fire Saturday morning.
Crews responded to the house fire at 10:03 a.m. near 17th and Clark Streets, according to the Omaha Fire Department.
Smoke and flames can be seen from the back of the empty two-story house. The arriving brigades fought the fire for more than an hour before it was brought under control.
No one was in the house at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
According to investigators, the cause of the fire was a fire. The suspect was located in the area and arrested.
A vacant home worth $102,500 is considered a total loss after the fire.
